Church in Saue

Michael’s congregation plans to build a church in Saue and is applying for land from the city of Saue. One option is a plot Kuuseheki 9. This architectural sketch is a vision of a possible church building, its size, contents and suitability to a particular urban environment. The sketch is a useful material for the congregation to start negotiations with Saue City Government.
The voluminous idea of the church is inspired by Christian symbolism: the triangular church hall – from the Trinity, overlooking the altar – facing Jerusalem. The idea to design a church garden as an urn wall is also innovative.
