Jauram Apartment Buildings

Perestroika in the Soviet Union launched an entrepreneurial spirit. He was acutely aware that one day the state needed new, modern apartments and commercial premises instead of depreciating buildings. The soul longed for a Western lifestyle, which rather meant replacing the old with the new. At that time, there was not enough experience to understand the true value of milieu architecture with its roots in history. This understanding came years later. Fortunately, Jauram’s idea project did not realized either.

Project is handmade with  pencil and black ink using Rotring rapidograph. About 5 years were left until the introduction of computer design.
